Solutions Engineer

The Solutions Engineer plays a critical role in our Sales team, supporting the pre-sales process. Working alongside the Sales and Product Teams, the Solutions Engineer identifies the business problem(s) and client need(s) and generates the information to address those needs.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide demo guidance and support during pre-sales discussions with current and prospective customers and partners.
  • Provide RFP responses, presentations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and products, including participation in industry events as appropriate.
  • Work closely with the sales team on account strategy and identifying additional opportunities in existing accounts and understand current deal statuses and next steps.
  • Leverage technical knowledge to overcome customer barriers and concerns.
  • Influence product direction with your unique understanding of customer needs.
  • Prepare required project documentation (scope of work, assumptions, etc.).
  • Collaborate with support to accelerate product improvement.
  • Work with Channel Manager on any demos, dashboards, account creation/population for opportunities in EMEA and possibly Asia.
  • Sales demos and client contact may occur during off hours (for opportunities in Europe or Asia).

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer facing role.
  • 1+ years of experience in online brand abuse identification or equivalent.
  • 1+ years experience in delivering a white glove customer experience.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and creativity skills are required.
  • Excellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.

Desired Skills

  • Multilingual (additional languages desired – Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, German, and/or Italian).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization’s success and marketcompetitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
  • Manages HR vendors including benefit providers, software, etc.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to the company on human resource matters; assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.

The Systems Engineer – Internal at a high-level, ensures that the IT infrastructure is in place to meet company needs and is responsible for testing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking systems. This includes providing quality technical support to internal customers through one or all available channels, meeting or exceeding their expectations at every opportunity. The Systems Engineer – Internal may design, install and maintain the company’s assets and train staff on hardware and software as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide remote or in person support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals and other computer related devices.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, support and debug operating systems, software, and infrastructure.
  • Manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Repair and replace broken or otherwise damaged systems and resources.
  • Performs high-level root cause analysis for service interruption recovery and implements preventive measures.
  • Maintains and tracks asset inventory through hardware procurement and refresh; ensures systems are up to date with the latest software and operating systems, security patches and software, etc.
  • Manages lifecycle of company equipment, including laptops and desktop machines, monitors, etc.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee software/hardware issues.
  • Administrate employee email and groups.
  • Manage, secure and maintain employee systems and internal resources including LAN, VLANs, WAN and VPNs.
  • Aid in securing physical office premises and maintain corresponding systems.
  • Ensure security, privacy and integrity of resources and data.
  • Assists with implementing and enforcing security policies and practices.
  • Requisition and setup employee systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience required (Computer Science, Information Systems, System Engineering, Cyber Security).
  • Excellent customer service, communication and time management skills.
  • Team player.
  • Familiar with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiar with basic networking and security concepts (vlans, subnetting, firewalls, multi-layered security, least privilege).
  • Comfortable troubleshooting various network connectivity issues.
  • Able to investigate and repair employee hardware and software issues, in-office and remote.
  • Able to prioritize issues.
  • Familiar with Google Workspace and device management systems including Meraki, Mosyle, Prey.
  • Strong experience working with and supporting Audio-Visual hardware and software.

The Customer Relationship Manager is responsible for the overall customer experience (B2B), manages the customer’s domain portfolio, and is a domain industry expert.
